Stay at our rustic cabin when hunting elk, deer and bear on the adjoining National Forest lands.

Our property is bordered on three sides by National Forest. The closest public foot access point is over a mile away. From our primitive cabin, you are hunting the minute you leave the door. The property is located just five miles from the Rocky Mountain National Parks NE boundary in prime elk hunting territory. Guests stay in a 240 sq. ft. one-room cabin with propane lights and heat. There is a wood burning stove for those who like to stoke the fire at midnight. There are beds for four guests, propane stoves for cooking, and an outhouse on the property. This property is for the serious hunters who don’t need all of the comforts of home. An outdoor shower stall is available during the early seasons and an ample supply of potable water is delivered to the property before your hunt. Bring your hunting gear, sleeping bag and food, the rest is ready for you.

This property is located in GMU 19 along the unit's Southern border near the head waters of Buckhorn Creek. The elevation ranges from 8,600 feet to 10,200 feet at the top of East White Pine Mountain. It is black timber hunting consisting mostly of lodgepole pine and aspens. Access to the property is limited to 4-wheel drive high clearance vehicles only. ATVs are permitted on the road with the appropriate state registration.
